Ignite is built to be a sanctuary, not a surveillance tool. We believe that your spiritual habits and digital struggles are private.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or IP address. We do not require you to create an account to use the app.

By using Ignite, you agree to the limited data practices described below, which exist solely to keep the app functioning and sustainable.

While we minimize data collection, we cannot build a functioning app with zero information. We automatically collect the following to ensure performance:

• **Device Details:** Your device model, iOS/Android version, and language settings (so the app displays correctly).

• **Crash Logs:** Provided via Apple or Google diagnostics to help us fix bugs if the app closes unexpectedly.

• **Usage Patterns:** Anonymized data on which features are used most (e.g., "Screen Time blocked" vs "Prayer opened").

To personalize your experience, we also store your selected **Age Group** and **Religious Preference** locally on your device to tailor the tone of the content.

We rely on a few specific partners to power the app. We have chosen them carefully based on their reliability and security standards:

• **Apple App Store & Google Play:** They handle all payment processing. We never see your credit card info.

• **Revenuecat:** This service manages our subscription logic and paywalls. They receive anonymous IDs to verify if you have unlocked Premium.

• **PostHog:** We use this for product analytics. All data sent here is anonymized. It helps us understand if new features are actually helpful.

• **Google Gemini API:** This powers our AI prayer generation.

Ignite uses artificial intelligence (via the Gemini API) to generate personalized prayer prompts and scripture reflections.

When you request a prayer, your input is sent to the API to generate a response. This interaction is ephemeral. Your personal prayer requests are not permanently stored on our servers, nor are they used to train public AI models.

The content is generated for devotional use. We do not manually read your generated prayers.

Because Ignite does not use user accounts, there is no "cloud profile" to delete. Your data lives primarily on your phone.

**To delete your data:** Simply delete the app. This immediately wipes your journals, streaks, and preferences.

**To delete analytics:** If you wish to have your anonymized device history removed from our analytics provider (PostHog), please email us. While the data is not linked to your identity, we can attempt to locate and purge the associated device ID record.

Ignite is rated 4+ and is designed to be safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13.

If you are a parent and believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child (for example, through a direct support email), please contact us immediately, and we will delete it.

As the app evolves, we may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements.

Any changes will be posted here with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of Ignite after these changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
